Historical Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. We are a confessional, liturgical Lutheran church. We believe that the Scriptures are the Word of God, entirely without error or contradiction, and they are the only infallible rule of faith and practice.

The Scriptures teach us that there is one God, eternally existing in three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They also teach us that Jesus Christ, the Son of God incarnate, came to die on the cross for the sins of the whole world and He rose from the dead on the third day. We are saved by grace alone, through faith in Christ alone. We receive the free gifts that Christ earned for us on the cross by means of the Word and the Sacraments.

Our mission is to lead people to Jesus Christ by reaching out in Faith, Hope, and Love.
